Die Dagboek van Ds. Herman Frederik Schoon 11 Oktober 1899-30 Junie 1902

Considered to be the father of the Dutch Reformed Church in Natal, Ds. Schoon kept a diary of life in Ladysmith during the Boer War. This previously unpublished work was translated from Dutch into Afrikaans by his granddaughter, Eirene Oosthuysen.

The CD also contains a second book: Eirene Oosthuysen's valuable commentary on her ancestors entitled "KwaZulu-Natal en sommige Nels, Besters en Schoons wat daar gewoon het".
