A compilation of more than 560 000 names, representing 133 740 South African families, the purpose of the index is to provide researchers with a reliable database that is constantly updated with new information. It is, therefore, a dynamic electronic database that is quickly available at a reasonable cost. Data is, in the main, collected and merged from many sources and the compiler does not claim complete accuracy. It is intended as a reference source for those looking for direction, thus leaving them more time to concentrate their efforts on research.

Standard Version of the Genealogical Program Legacy

This allows you to install Legacy 7 on your coputer with the password "legacy7". Once you have installed the program, you need to transfer the e-SAGI.fdb Legacy Data File to the Data directory created by the installation of the Legacy Program.

A gedcom file of the e-SAGI database
