Membership of the Society

An annual membership fee is charged, which includes subscription to the Society's quarterly journal, Familia. This is available electronically and on paper.

Certain branches make their newsletters available at an annual fee, newsletters are compulsory for branch members:

The following mechanisms of payment are accepted:

• Cheque or Postal Order, made out to "The Genealogical Society of South Africa"
• Direct Transfer to a bank account of the branch to which the member belongs
• 'n Bank Draft in South African Rand (ZAR) (For persons outside of South Africa)
• Payment using PayPal to eGGSA (for persons outside of South Africa)

Please do not include cash in normal mail!
